The Power of Makeup

Makeup has been a staple for almost every woman. It’s meant to enhance our natural beauty and help us feel twice as sexy and confident. (I’m thinking of my favorite blood red lipstick shade!) While the magic of makeup has always been a controversy; because not everyone feels okay wearing them while others just love it and can’t live without it. I always respect those who have different opinions on this issue.

Just a disclaimer: I do not intend to point out the flaws of these models, celebrities or everyone in general. I just want to share my opinion on how amazing makeup can be because it can help those who have been having self-esteem issues because they want to cover up certain things in their faces or bodies. To others, makeup can be an art and they can be amazingly creative with their work. To some, it’s a passion that they want to pursue as a career. Now, let’s go on to looking at the power of makeup with the transformation of these people:

Let’s take the time to appreciate how this lady is naturally beautiful even without makeup. But her makeup game is so strong and I love it! Did you notice how contouring and highlighting can enhance areas of the face and make your best features naturally stand out? Others have been using it to alter the shape of their faces or make their noses look sleekier than ever. If you have a round shaped face and you want to emphasize your cheekbones and jawline, contouring can help you achieve that chiseled look. It could even hide those double-chins! If your skin is on the dry side, a natural looking highlighter can give you a glow that looks like it’s from within. One thing that I know for sure, this has got to be one of the best things that makeup can do for us ladies!

This one is pure art. This man can transform himself into different celebrities with just a stroke of a brush! This can give Kim Kardashian a run for her money. It looks a lot like her during her blonde days. Again, not a fan of Kim but this is a great masterpiece. I’ve seen this makeup artist transform himself into Britney Spears, Kylie Jenner, Mariah Carey and much more with just the power of makeup.

Another lovely lady right here that knows how to apply her makeup like a pro! She has mesmerizing green eyes that would surely capture the attention of everyone. Just by adding a dark blue eyeshadow in her eyelids and wispy falsies, her green eyes seem to be brighter and greener than ever! With her bold lip that matched her eye look, she’s now transformed into a naturally beautiful lady to a fierce looking woman! Makeup can do so much for those ladies that need a little pop of color in their face. Tanning isn’t everyone’s thing and looking pale isn’t the best look there is.
