Everyone thought that Ashley Graham was a stunner during the Miss Universe pageant. She was a natural, not only as a famous model that was an advocate of body positivity and self-love but as a host that kept the interest and thrill of the big international pageant. Along with her co-host Steve Harvey, they both hosted like a dream team.
What I admired the most about our queen Ashley, was the moment that she had a little accident backstage but showed everyone that the show must go on. Even with that injury that she got, she was ready to go on stage and host with all her might.
Other than the candidates and the Miss Universe 2018 winner Catriona Gray, Ashley Graham was definitely a head turner in her white bodycon high-neck dress by Michael Costello. Her curves were undeniably beautiful and her confidence was something we should all look up to.
She may have served as a host for the Miss Universe since 2017, but that didn’t stop her from her grievances with the show’s lack of body diversity. With her quest in letting women feel that they should love themselves no matter what their shape and sizes are, she is disappointed that she’s not seeing any curvy contestants competing in the international beauty pageant.
Personally, I’m not giving up on that thought that sooner or later, diversity in the pageant in terms of women’s shapes and sizes will be accepted in this international event too. That may take a long time, but I’m sure that women like Ashley Graham can inspire more and more women especially the youth to feel beautiful no matter what body shape and size they’re in.
“I think that it’s really important that we continue to show diversity of all sizes, ethnicities, backgrounds and religion,” she said. “So for me, I’m here to show diversity of size! Because not yet have we had a curvy girl in Miss Universe or even in the Miss USA pageant.”

In her second look, she was clad in an emerald green long-sleeved dress that was also high-neck and flaunted her beautiful curves, just like always. Ladies, make sure that our queen Ashley Graham inspires you to love your body!
If there’s anything that I always learn from Ashley Graham no matter what her outfit is, is that confidence is the best outfit that you can wear and you will always look stunning.
