Summer is finally here! It’s time to hit the pool and the beach! But before you get that spanking new tan, protect not only your skin but your hair as well.
Exposing your hair to too much sunlight and salty or chlorinated water is going to damage it and make it more frizzy. And believe me, I’ve donned every hair product I can find but I think it’s time we use natural products. After all, who isn’t a fan of DIY?
Homemade Natural Recipes for Frizzy Hair
This video shows three ways in which you can use simple kitchen ingredients to use on your hair and avoid the summer frizz.
Coconut milk + Lime juice
We all know coconut oil has many healing properties, but when mixed with lime juice, it will do miracles on your hair. Try to mix the them together and apply all over your hair. Leave for at least an hour or if you can, over night.
Plain yogurt + honey
Use just plain yogurt, not the ones with fruits inside. Mix with honey and voila! Apply on your hair and get rid of the frizz.
Hair conditioner + Olive oil
If you don’t want to experiment with kitchen ingredients yet and would like to use your hair conditioner, mix it with olive oil for that extra oomph.
