You do two things:
– Look at the models on the magazine covers and are instantly super impressed by their glowing, spotless skin.
– Take another look at your stretch marks and immediately chuck the thoughts of pursuing a modeling career, out of your mind for good.
Two words – SERIOUSLY. STOP.
And learn to get your head around the old adage that, ‘No one’s perfect’. Also most importantly, stop considering stretch marks to be detrimental to your modeling career.
Seriously, ask any of the photographers that how many models have they come across with zero skin imperfections. One in a hundred, he or she will reply. Truth is, every model has some minor skin demarcations or the other and having stretch marks or barest sign of it, is what tops the list.
If you believe you have the good looks and a well toned body fit for the modelling industry, then a few stretch marks should never get in the way from living your dream.
Remember the revolutionary product called concealer? And how many times has make-up rescued women?
A skilled makeup artist can erase those sketch marks with excellent body makeup and provide perfect coverage that will leave the skin looking flawless.
And besides, whatever could not be accomplished by the make-up artist can always be fixed with a little touch-up. Thank goodness for Photoshop and great photographers! All most all of the photos that are on the magazine covers or on the net have been air-brushed or re-touched by the photographer. The final photograph could easily be edited to faint away the stretch marks.
You aren’t the first and definitely won’t be the last person with stretch marks so don’t over analyze things. As long as you take care of your skin as best as you can, you can continue your modeling career without any setback.
